About Us

We produce and build knowledge systems of governance, economic and social well-being, as we work with the communities and their businesses to build and grow their economy. Creating linkages between the businesses in the different sectors from suppliers, manufacturers to sellers while coordinating and developing the capacity of community associations through training and mentorship programs. So that, unrestrained and true socio-economic benefits are realised in the Township and Rural communities.

 

Structure

 LTBL is registered as a Non-Profit Organisation, supported by a Council that is diverse in its involvement with governance, social and economic sector . LTBL is managed by an Executive Team, that is also a member of the council

c.    LTBL is founded on the values of the constitution; to improve the quality of life of all citizens and free the potential of each person.


d.    LTBL is non-partisan and looks to develop the entire ecosystem of a community; starting from the community imbizos /committees / associations, businesses and social activities.


e.    LTBL looks to partner with all organisations and individuals that desire to see true development 


f.    LTBL is funded by government agency (ies), private sector, and ordinary people that seek to develop the nation. Thus, we are independent of the donor influence and interests; such as propagating a set agenda due to the control of external forces.


g.    LTBL brings together Africans from all sectors first from the African continent to achieve its mission.


Programmes

All our programmes are designed to empower, capacitate, connect, enhance and enable current formal and informal businesses in the communities to sustainably grow their economy. Our programmes facilitate the Implementation of the Commonism Economic Ecosystems (CEE).

Let There Be Light is funded by individuals, small medium enterprises, government agencies, and other. We believe that there are many people who seek to build the economies of their communities but do not always have the time and the know-how.
